There are ways of life, and there are ways of survival. A way of life is what makes one happy, where a way of survival translates to preventing unwanted situations from occurring. Politicians, from the word go, are always under fire. Once they get in office, I have no doubt that everyone from Grandma Beatrice to the Mafia come visit them at one time or another. Their lives become more complicated with the political game afoot, and being in the center of it.
Power (or leverage) is an easy thing to conquer when you know how. Power over another human being only has its power if it includes a secret that nobody knows. Once the secret is out, the power is gone.
Countries maintain power by not letting their national secrets (size and power of their military, for example) be known by other countries. If there is a leader in the world who, by their very nature, would rather invade another country than provide solutions for their people then the above secrets are a "good thing".
It is when the secrets are kept from the American People in order to push an agenda, to mislead others so that their agenda can be fulfilled properly, to slap fairness in the face by pushing money under the table (in essence) in order to benefit a few through the use of money meant for the benefit of the country, that the secret is no longer in the interest of National Security. It is a personal agenda with no place in a government for the people and by the people. This is perversion of the ethical and moral nature of our government which must be stopped soon, or we will not be able to change the road we are on for the future.
We contend that the government has minor corruptions. They are not necessarily majorities, and they are also not relegated to a specific political party or affiliation. These issues have come from individual agendas, and from collective ideals that have reduced the value of our Constitution to be for the minority and not the majority.
It is time to take our Governments back at all levels. This cannot be done in one election cycle, but through strategic gains and contracts with like-minded individuals, it can be accomplished by the 2016 elections.
